An Electronics Repair Technician position in Beaverton, OR is available courtesy of Akkodis.Is this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.Rate: $28.00 - $31.00Duration: 1 year + but probably conversion to Full Time/Salaried/Direct Hire status with client.Location: Beaverton, ORDuties:Perform both routine and complex work related to the repair and calibration of test, measurement and diagnostic equipment preventive maintenance, testing and calibration.Repair instruments returned to the factory for service, to both the modular and component level as needed. Analyzes, troubleshoots, makes repairs, resolves technical problems and performs maintenance service on equipment or components returned to the repair center by customers.Conveys data and trends on product repairs to the appropriate person or department to assure quality and customersatisfactionEscalates unusual product issues to appropriate support teamsCompletes calibration data sheets accurately and efficientlyCompletes all documentation supporting: customer requirements, reporting, ISO and other quality systemsAdheres to quality management system policies and proceduresPerform documentation.Other duties as needed.Minimum requirements:AS Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience.U.S. Citizen or U.S. person status required.Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)Capable of lifting up to 50 poundsAbility to work both daily and weekend overtime as necessary.Experience with analog, digital electronics, and operational amplifiers. Ability to read electronic schematics and mechanical drawings. Ability to document technical information with great attention to detail. Preferred:Experience and/or training in test and measurement equipment calibration techniques and methodology.Experience performing circuit board root cause failure analysis and documenting findings.Experience with LEAN disciplines and continuous improvement methodology.Experience soldering fine pitch SMT components.Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on customer demands.
