In 2021, Delta was also recognized by CDP with leadership level ratings for its substantial contribution to climate change and water security issues and named Supplier Engagement Leader for its continuous development of a sustainable value chain.Responsibilities and DutiesDevelop a compliance test plan to ensure product compliance requirements are met.Execute EMI/EMC/NEBS/Environmental test plans, review test reports, and ensure product compliance.Coordinate and provide onsite test support for NEBS FCC CE UL/CSA testing at 3rd party test laboratories, troubleshoot and mitigate compliance-related issues.Manage the product compliance certificate database, as well as certificate renewals projects.Create and organize technical files/folders if needed as well as audit current technical files/folders for continuous improvement.Support Product Compliance team with multiple tasks/actions to ensure products comply with current regulations.Translate product requirements for various countries of the world into project definition and deliverables.Participate in product development meetings to ensure product regulatory & customer specific compliance requirements.Working with and advising a global development team on product design requirements/review related to associated EMC, NEBS, and product safety standards including UL 62368-1 and UL 891.Ensure all product labeling and documentation requirements are met and documented.Stay ahead of any changes to global regulatory requirements, agency approvals or test procedures to help the organization achieve, sustain, and maintain worldwide product compliance.Collaborates closely with the product management team to ensure all world-wide country certifications and requirements are met and maintained to meet the company's product target market objectives.Procure hardware, setup equipment and interface with software teams to configure equipment for compliance testing.Evaluate engineering changes to existing products and end-of-life parts to maintain product compliance with national and international standards.Collaborating with cross-functional staff, and other groups to address any product compliance issues, driving them to closure.Engage with management, hardware, and software group to deliver support for execution of compliance within agreed time frames.Coordinate proper safety audit procedures with CM, mitigate audit-related issues with regulatory agencies, and contact the manufacturer.Qualifications This position requires 10+ years of the product compliance related experience.Knowledge and hands-on experience with of all associated EMI/EMC laboratory test equipment. In-depth knowledge and hand on experience of the NEBS and worldwide Safety EMC regulations, standards, and test methods.Direct experience dealing with in-country representatives to obtain certifications.Ability to research & accurately answer general questions with respect to product compliance to various internal team members.Knowledge of wireless regulatory national and international requirements, and approval process.Ability to stay ahead of any changes to global regulatory requirements, agency approvals or test procedures to help the organization.Ability to work independently and manage and prioritize projects in accordance with the company's needs.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.In depth experience and knowledge of major international telecommunications and Safety regulatory regulations and requirements and the methodology and strategies for obtaining world-wide certifications (BSMI, CE Mark, and other major countries) in a cost-effective manner.Project management experience.Must have passed UL 891 MTR testing.Location: United States based position that is located in Plano, Texas.Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, and experience.
