Focus: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive design plans and specifications for diverse infrastructure projects, including public, agency, and private developments. Utilize advanced civil engineering expertise to generate detailed design calculations, technical drawings, drainage reports, and precise cost estimates. Engage with regulatory authorities at the city, county, and state levels to ensure adherence to stringent design criteria and regulatory standards. Contribute innovative solutions and strategies to overcome project complexities and achieve client objectives effectively. Maintain open and effective communication channels with team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout all project phases. Skill Set: Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited engineering program recognized by EAC/ABET, CEAB, or equivalent. Hold an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) designation, with a preference for Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure. Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and the Microsoft Office suite is essential for this role. Strong technical prowess in design, hydrologic and hydraulic computations, computer modeling, and data analysis is required. Previous experience with water modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HY-8, or similar tools is highly advantageous. Familiarity with GIS software, including ArcPro and ArcMap, is considered a valuable asset.
