HIRING IMMEDIATELY!!!Audiovisual Lead TechnicianLocation: Fort Wayne, IndianaEnsure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.We are currently seeking a Lead Audiovisual Technician for one of the top Audiovisual integrators in Indiana! This role provides leadership and technical services for installation crews, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of installation work. The Lead Technician also offers general support to the sales team and support staff as needed.Responsibilities:Read and understand project documentation including CAD drawings, MSS, Quote, GANTT charts, work orders, etc.Meet with Project Managers and company staff to discuss Trip/Project details in preparation for installationOversee and/or perform assembly, installation and repair of equipment, materials and systems as directed, specified and required in the project documentation. This may include wire pull, rigging, termination, installation, testing, training and commissioningMaintain timeline accuracy throughout the projectEnsure workmanship and worker performance meet company standardsCommunicate installation progress and activity to Project Managers, providing information on problems or concerns with assigned tasks, the installation in general, and client relationsUpdate Project Managers and Sales as to changes in the field so As-built drawings, and change orders are kept accurateFile prescribed reports throughout the installation processComplete project installation(s) while meeting or exceeding company metrics for successEnsure project is completed on time and on budgetProvide assistance in general labor and Pre-Build as assignedProvide Assessment of improving the installation processCollaborate with other staff to practice standards and processes that are replicableIdentify ways to increase efficiency, focus, and profitabilityProvide Technical Support for sales, design and service staff as neededDesired Skills & Experience:A minimum of 3 years of field experience in professional installation of audio, video, lighting, broadcast, and acoustic (AVLA)Proven leader; organizing equipment and manpower for greatest efficiency and completion of the projectHigh level knowledge of AVLA systems and equipmentAdvanced proficiency in AVLA related skills and understanding of building construction.Must read architectural drawingsPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights up to 40 ft.An interest in research, continuing education and certification into areas specific to AVLAA valid driver's license.Ability to work away from home for extended times (usually no longer than 2 weeks, but may see a series of 2-week trips in succession)Audio Visual, Audio-visual, AV, A/V, ProAV, Crestron, AVIXA, Biamp, QSC, Audio Visual, Audio-visual, AV, A/V, ProAV, Crestron, AVIXA, Biamp, QSC, Audio Visual, Audio-visual, AV, A/V, ProAV, Crestron, AVIXA, Biamp, QSC,
