A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.Director of Product EngineeringYou will have the opportunity to play a key role in the product engineering roadmap, and be part of the leadership and management team, you will be the lead in responsibilities for the execution of Product Generation and Lifecycle Process, which will be from customer requirement gathering through to product handover to the manufacturing team.Director of Product Engineering, You will be responsible for:You will be responsible for staffing and leading technical teams, ensuring assigned project goals and objectives.Specify and monitor work packages with development teams.Leading and executing a portfolio of custom product development projectsProvide technical leadership to the sales team during the project acquisition phasesYou will provide product consultation for customers in complete power distribution system design, protection & control designSet up and lead cross-functional project teams that transfer prototype solutions into series manufacturingYou will manage the development, maintenance, and improvement of all automated test toolsHave the opportunity to progress to management and directorship.Skills we need for the Director of Product Engineering:Bachelors or Masters in EE or equivalent education and work experience relevant to position.Have 5+ years of project management or development experience in Electrical and System design in the Defense and Aerospace sector.5+ years hands-on management experience.Strong experience in High Voltage systems and Electrification.Hold knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 system and processes.Familiar with design quality tools such as Design Reviews, DFMEA, FMEA, Design for Manufacturing, and Design for Test.Have excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.Experience with leadership presentations and communication.Strong project management and organizational skills.The company you will join:Is part of a global 1st tier conglomerate with turnover in excess of $15billion.Work as an independent business unit that is well funded and has strong growth potential in excess of 25% year on year.Have excellent training and accreditation programs internally.Are offering fast-track career progression and development of leadership to take electrification programs forward into production.Have a strong project book with many more projects being acquired.Take action now and apply for consideration.
