GarzaEMC is a collaborative Team where each of our offices work together. A Professional Engineer should act as an "Assistant Project Manager", well-versed in project design, financials, and schedules. They are the point of contact for clients if the Project Manager is unavailable and must be able to coordinate with other team members at all levels, both internal and external to the company. The primary role of the Professional Engineer is ensuring the completion of the engineering design and management of any permitting requirements.All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application. ResponsibilitiesPlanning, scheduling, coordinating, and ensuring completion of project tasksCompletion of project engineering design elements, technical analyses, etc.Management of project design and construction document development in AutoCAD Civil3DManaging and coordinating project permitting effortsAssisting in communication with project design, ownership, and construction teamsAssisting in management and monitoring project progress, schedules, and budgetsOverseeing the successful completion of assigned projectsQualificationsLicensed Professional Engineer in the State of Tennessee Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering5-10 years engineering experience in site civil/land development High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DRelevant software programs may include GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, and PondPack
