We are currently assisting our client, publicly traded market leader, with an Engineering Manager search near Cleveland, OH. The Electrical Engineering Manager will be directing a team of engineers and technicians to define project requirements, goals, scope, tasks, and timelines, and create design solutions to exceed customer expectations for quality, cost, performance, and timing.Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the engineering team to develop best practices in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving all types of process/production issuesDesign, development and launch electrical components and systemsLead all aspects of product design, from concept initiation through manufacturing optimizationConducting design reviews and facilitating communications between departments to deliver engineering solutions and revisions.Work cross functionally with other teams and groups - mechanical engineers, systems engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, etc.Develop methods, processes, and procedures that will improve processes, eliminate failures and reduce manufacturing costsEstablish and maintain strong customer relationships with suppliers to develop new products and push forward programsOversee team members while still contributing to continuous improvement at the siteRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer ScienceMust have 3 years or more management experience leading a team of engineersExperience within electrical engineering in medical device, oil & gas, or relatedAdditional Information:All information will be kept strictly confidentialApplications will not be considered without a Resume/Curriculum Vitae which includes contact information
