You will be responsible for schematic capture, board layout, analog circuit design, and extensive testing and debugging. You have ideally shipped multiple electronic products through the NPI phases and are comfortable with the concepts of EVT, DVT, and PVT. If you know the smell of skin singed on a soldering iron and have pulled your hair out trying to debug a crosstalk or desense issue, we want to talk to you. If you believe that hardware development should be as fast and easy as software development, and you are interested in solving a grand challenge, you may be a good fit. A list of other suggested qualifications is below.REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES:5+ years of experienceBS or MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related fieldAltium, KICAD, or Cadence experienceSchematic capture, component creation, multilayer layout (6+ layers with controlled impedance)Exceptional test and debug skillsComfortable with equipment like oscilloscope, four quadrant power supply, source measurement unit, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, electronic loads etcKnowledge of safe grounding, isolation, and debugging techniquesExperience with tuning and measuring intentional radiatorsExperience working with a firmware team and running or modifying scripts to accelerate bring-up.A good understanding of circuit primitives especially transistors.
