You will track and report on all hardware and software, define asset tracking processes, manage software assets, and participate in integrating asset management with other business functions.Essential Functions:Track and report on all hardware and software across a network or enterprise; monitor unlicensed installations and prohibited software.Define asset tracking processes, policies, and procedures; ensure that all hardware and software assets are recorded and tracked.Manage software assets to ensure license compliance.Implement and refine repeatable processes and controls that demonstrate quality and regulatory compliance.Review asset discrepancies and inventory for variances with asset database records.Assess and provide variance resolution; analyze variances and make recommendations.Associate variances with other process areas and advise appropriate process managers.Identify areas of process improvement and communicate to the Asset Manager.Provide assistance and information to procurement; recommend and initiate end of life on high maintenance assets.Other Requirements:General PC knowledge including expert level knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of Access.In-depth knowledge of and experience with IT asset lifecycle management.Good understanding of Asset Management process, policies, procedures, tools, and templates.Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools and methodologies.Excellent analytical, assessment, planning, verbal, and written communication skills.Good knowledge of the physical environment.Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology-related field preferred.Five (5) years of experience in technology asset management lifecycle.Why Join Us in Savannah, GA?Our Savannah, GA location offers a supportive and engaging work environment.
