Job Title: Data Center TechNumber of roles open: 2 Contract Duration: 6 month to start - ongoing support past 6 monthsJob DescriptionOur client is working on state-of-the-art data center equipment and they need technical help to test, troubleshoot, repair and optimize their next generation gear.Qualifications include:Strong data center experience in an enterprise environment.Minimum of 5 years on-prem large scale data center experience supporting the data center equipment and/or infrastructure (Power, Space, Cooling, Equipment)Experience working within the HPC space.Must have experience doing cluster administration and building out new clustersStrong attention to detail, independent and out of box thinkingSolid skills in UNIX (Ubuntu or RedHat) administration and knowledge of basic commands including logging into the server's to monitor for disk failures, etc. Linux scripting experience also a MUSTAbility to debug server hardwareBreak/fix server expertiseBuild up prototype open board systems on the benchtop and debugging issues reported by users.Triage and debug systems and get systems to pass base line diagnostics.
