This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, Automation Controls Engineer to collaborate with engineers. The person in this position will work primarily to develop robust and well-structured industrial control software logic. This role has the opportunity to grow and develop to the ideal candidate's strengths and preferences.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to read, program, and troubleshoot PLC logic to resolve complex problems and optimize machine performance. (Often featuring large count of servo axes)Active role in designing software of new systemsDebugging and testing new logicAssist with supporting existing PLC, HMI and Robot programsFinding root cause and possible solutions for issuesTest Newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of specificationsPosition Specific Competencies:Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging industrial electrical control circuits and programs.Knowledge and hands-on experience with the design and programming of B&R PLC's, HMI's.Robot Programming, Fanuc primarilyGood mechatronics backgroundFamiliarity with G-codeKnowledge in the use of common industrial electronic components, including starters, contactors, circuit breakers, proximity switches, photo-electric switches, position sensors, controllers, DC, AC, and servo drives.Thorough understanding of common industrial machine operation.Experience:2+ years experience programming PLC'sProficient in PLC and HMI Programming - preferred Structure text (B&R is a huge plus)C# programming and WPF experience a plus*No Recruiters Please
