We want people to say that Webber performs!A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROJECT ENGINEERThe Project Engineer provides support to the Project Manager and the Project Superintendent. The support goals include goal setting, planning, communicating, organizing, implementing, and tracking. The Project Engineer is in the field 20%-30% of the time.WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A SUCCESSFUL PROJECT ENGINEERability to acquire, organize, review and distribute project submittals & RFIs.skills to create and maintain all required Project Logs and takeoffs.ability to communicate with the owner and client representatives.skills to maintain project budgets and complete required cost reports.ability to schedule self-perform, subcontractor work and supplier material deliveries.skills to read and interpret documents such as project plans and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF A PROJECT ENGINEERDegree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar degree.
