As a First-Of-A-Kind Machinery Engineer, you will play a vital role in the engineering, design, and integration of cutting-edge machinery and robotic systems. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse array of technical tasks, including:Conceptualizing and developing First-Of-A-Kind machinery and robotic systemsConducting rapid prototyping, testing, and refining conceptual designsPerforming detailed design work on mechanical systems and hardwarePrecisely assembling and testing complex mechatronic systemsDocumenting and presenting designs and project updates to internal teams and external clientsManaging multiple tasks for various stakeholders, adapting to frequent changes in scope and priorityEnsuring adherence to safety standards and proceduresProgramming automated equipmentMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering2-5 years of relevant design/engineering experienceHands-on experience in the design, development, and implementation of electro-mechanical productsProficiency in SolidWorks (preferred) or PTC Creo for 3D modeling of components and assemblies, as well as creating 2D drawings for quoting and fabricationKnowledge of technologies utilized in machine design, including pneumatic actuators and control circuits, motion control systems, power transmission technologies, industrial sensors and feedback systems, machine vision, and sealing technologiesFamiliarity with computer hardware, software, and networking technologiesExperience in controls engineering, electrical design, and programming is advantageousAbility to wire machines, work with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, and knowledge of industrial roboticsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a culturally diverse environment
