CPH has an opening in our Tampa, Florida office location for the following position:Senior Traffic Engineer - Must be a licensed professional Engineer in the state of Florida or have the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Hiring bonus of $5,000 for selected candidate!Duties IncludeProvide Traffic Engineering support to CPH's diverse Client Base on both Private and Public Sectors. Lead preparation the of Traffic Impact Analyses and Studies, Traffic Operation and Safety Plans, Capacity Analysis, Safety Analysis, and Traffic Modeling.Mentoring staff within the Traffic Engineering team.Assist with high growth potential of traffic engineering services across CPH.RequirementsIdeal candidate will have a B.S./M.S. degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering with 4-6 years' experience.Ideal candidate will have Florida P.E. or can obtain within 6 months.This person must have familiarity in preparing traffic impact studies including modeling & simulations in, HCS, Synchro, and FSUTMS model/programs.Experience in safety and traffic operations studies including signal warrant analysis, signal timing/retiming, turn lane queue analysis, intersection analysis, roundabout analysis, and preparing supporting technical reports.Project traffic forecasting, travel demand, DRI reviews, and miscellaneous planning supportExperience in providing representation at public hearings and meetings is a plus.Ability to assist in preparation of proposals and presentations for public and private sector Clients.Experience using AutoCAD helpful, but not required.Ability to manage multiple traffic assignments.Willing to work as a team and have strong report writing and communication skillsPrevious project management experiences including schedule tracking, budget preparations, and client coordination a plus.Possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
