By fostering high-performance teams, you'll create a dynamic, profitable department that thrives on safety and adheres to our core values.Do you have the skills to fill this role Read the complete details below, and make your application today.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary direction, cultivate high-performing teams, and embody the culture, values, and mission.Team Management: Lead, coordinate, and review work assignments to ensure the efficient utilization of staff resources, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness.Profitable Growth: Drive the profitable growth of the department, aligning staff levels, assignments, and workloads with project requirements while meeting billable goals.Project Expertise: Participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, and cost control, setting critical objectives for Construction and/or Self-Perform projects.Project Execution: Oversee the successful execution of projects, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. Your expertise covers safety, quality, procurement, construction, environmental compliance, project controls, and public/community relations.Interdepartmental Coordination: Ensure effective communication between the Engineering Group and the Construction Department.Program and Initiative Support: Implement, apply, and support company, global practice, and regional office programs and initiatives. Navigate change adeptly within the department.Financial Performance: Achieve financial targets and standards, skillfully managing the department budget and expenditure of funds. Regularly review workload, financial reports, project scheduling, budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and project status reports.Stakeholder Engagement: Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, including governmental bodies, industry partners, public entities, and community relations.Talent Development: Recruit, develop, train, and retain staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance, ensuring growth within the department.Organizational Vision: Interpret the organization's policies, purposes, and goals to staff, aligning them with our mission.Business Development: Collaborate with business development managers, business line leads, project managers, and proposal production staff to secure work for the department.Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Ensure adherence to the QA/QC process, guaranteeing the highest standards of work.Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies, conducting safety, quality, progress, and financial audits and assessments as required.Diversity Initiatives: Drive diversity initiatives within the department, promoting a culture of inclusion and equity.Qualifications:Education: Possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or a related field from an accredited program. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.Experience: Bring a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in design and/or project management, with a preference for previous leadership and management roles. A P.E.
