Title: Lab Operator (I, II or III)location: Austin, TXContract: 6 Month+ contract, potential Temp to Perm HireRead on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.Shifts:Two Teams: Alpha and BravoAlpha DaySun, Mon, Tues 12.5 hours / 5am - 5:30pmWed 6.5 hours / 11am - 5:30 pmAlpha NightSun, Mon, Tues 12.5 hours / 5pm - 5:30amWed 6.5 hours / 11pm - 5:30amBravo DayWed 6.5 hours / 5am - 11:30amThurs, Fri, Sat 12.5 hours / 5am - 5:30pmBravo NightWed 6.5 hours / 5pm - 11:30pmThurs, Fri, Sat 12.5 hours / 5pm - 5:30amThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills:Comfortable working in a fast-paced production, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments with defined success metrics and goals for teams and individualsAbility to follow detailed written instruction required to successfully run stated protocols with minimal supervisionKeen attention to detail, highly organized, and diligentUnderstands and follows all company and site-specific policies and procedures.Willing to participate in continuous improvement and operation exercisesStrong computer skills and not intimidated to learn new systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to handle and maneuver small components and partsComply with all lab safety guidelines and use appropriate safety and protected devices when performing duties in the labAbility to work flexible shifts/hours, as well as overtime as needed, which requires standing on lab floor for the duration of a work shift not including breaks.Lifting and handling of materials used for experiments will be required, not to exceed OSHA guidelinesPreferred Skills & Experience:1 - 3 years of experience working in either a laboratory environment or regulated manufacturing industry (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology, Automotive, etc.)Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Laboratory Practices (GMP/GLP) environment
