Location : Phoenix, AZ.Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.A leading Audiovisual Integrator is currently seeking a Lead Security Technician with proficiency in security system programming, device installation, layout, wiring, and troubleshooting, displaying meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities include configuring and editing commercial security systems. The ideal candidate should exhibit the capacity to work independently, follow specified guidelines with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively with employees, customers, and colleagues. They should demonstrate competence in managing multiple tasks and projects. Mandatory qualifications include certification in Lenel or equivalent access control systems, while familiarity with Bosch, Panasonic, Verkada, RS2, and Milestone is considered beneficial.Job Duties: Self-perform or Successfully lead an installation team using leadership skills.Perform installation, testing and troubleshooting of electrified/electronic access control door hardware to include cylindrical locks, panic devices and electronic locking hardware.Bring projects in within budgeted hours.Make recommendations based on applicable codes, standards, and best practices.Implement the job plan and scope of work as well as perform retrofits and upgrades for existing customers.Plan 2 to 4 week look ahead for material, labor, lifts, and equipment needed.Review all project documents, scope and plans prior to start of work.Follow company protocol for all aspects of job.Learn and adhere to all required safety standards.Provide technical support as needed.Configure and program equipment for various applications as needed.Interface with manufacturers to identify and resolve issues.Make recommendations as to whether it is better to repair or replace a defective product.Effectively communicate and document activities such as keeping records up to date and entering accurate timesheet information.Deliver technical training and guidance to clients and team members.Provide professional customer service including rapidly building technical credibility with clients via superior knowledge and service.Professionally represent the company with Senior-level clients showing empathy, patience, and competence.Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to peers, clients, and managementCoordinate required activities with subcontractors, manufacturers, and company personnel through the required management chain.Maintain a positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment.Experience Requirements:At least 3 years' experience installing & programming of access control systems.Must have Lenel or equal certification.Avigilon, Bosch, Panasonic, Verkada, RS2 and Milestone is a plusStrong interpersonal skills for interfacing with customers, on site trades and management teamStrong oral and written communication skills and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, and Word. Bluebeam is a plus.Ability to read and understand drawings or blueprints is a must.Ability to work from notes, verbal instructions, sketches and drawings, installation manuals or engineering specification.Ability to listen and take direction from supervisors and provide direction and guidance to subordinates.Utilize and provide the proper level of communication and documentation for all assigned work including drawings, scopes of work, parts list along with providing written/verbal daily project status updatesMaintain a professional appearanceAbility to multi-taskAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precaution (OSHA 10 Certification)Must have a valid, clean driver's license.Must pass a drug screen, extensive background check and I-9 screening.
