We're seeking an IT Project Manager for Security-related projects (IAM and IGA) for our global brand-recognized client headquartered in North Orange County. The ideal person will be a disciplined IT Project Manager with strengths in core PM functions such as communications, project scheduling and maintenance, risk mitigation, issue resolution, resource management, expectations setting, communications, facilitating meetings, escalations, project artifacts, change management, etc. Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.The emphasis of the work will be on identity and access management and identity governance administration initiatives plus approximately 20% on other security-related projects, functioning as a vendor liaison with a large consulting firm. ** Start date: May 2024**Duration: 6-12+month W2 contract, with potential to extend** Location: Hybrid in North Orange County, CA - 1-2 days onsite** Compensation: The expected compensation is $60-65/hr. W2 plus benefits. The offered compensation to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include (but are not limited to) the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.Position Responsibilities: Manage project deliverables and milestones within approved timelines and budget Utilize System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management Methodology to manage the development, customization, configuration, testing, and implementation of IT systems Manage and coordinate day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of approved projects May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues Build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally to lead project delivery teams towards successful project outcomes Document decisions and action items of team meetings Assist with the collection, consolidation, and review of large IT program dash boards Collect risks, issues, and dependencies associated with larger IT programs Run review meetings with IT Program Managers Assist with the development of standard SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum) Assist with the development of harmonized Program/Project Management methodologies Qualifications: BS/BA (with an IT focus) preferred or equivalent experience 8-10+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 8 years of hands-on IT Project Management Experience. Experience with deploying Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, application security, and support security compliance software Experience with IT GRC and integration with ERP systems Soft skillsEffective with clear and concise communication skills, relationship building, and documentation skillsExcellent vendor liaison skillsCollaborative, flexible and adaptable when working with customers and various teamsSelf-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well as team Ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesPlease apply today!
