Position Overview : Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Software Developer to join one of our federal projects supporting Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your previous Salesforce development experience and expertise. Your in-depth understanding of state models will be used to build workflow applications used to integrate external data.The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.Your future duties and responsibilities:· Modernize the capabilities offered by National Consumer Complaint Database (NCCDB) using the Salesforce Platform.· Provide an avenue to consumers, drivers and industry professionals to submit a complaint through telephone, email and web, at a minimum, for various complaint types and categories, and track the complaint through its lifecycle.· Authenticate internal FMCSA users using DOT MyAccess solution, and users external to FMCSA using Login.gov· Implement a workflow that tracks the complaint as it moves through the handling process and allows FMCSA personnel to respond to complaints in an effective manner· Integrate with the data platform to store and/or retrieve information relevant to the complaint.· Migrate the existing complaint data to the new platform.· Utilize Mulesoft's Anypoint Platform to design, develop and orchestrate APIs, and implement the new data exchange platform for FMCSA.· Work closely with the Software Architect and other technical team members, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts in developing solutions on the Salesforce platform.Required qualifications to be successful in this role:· BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.· 7+ years previous development experience with (5+ with Apex and Visualforce)· 5+ years of extensive experience implementing in Platform, Service and Experience Cloud· Solid understanding of and detailed experience with architecture and API· Experience integrating with other applications· Experience with Agile development methodologies· Certified Salesforce Platform Developer credential required· Experience using Mulesoft and data pipelines· Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearanceNice to have's:· Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional· Preferred certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant· Currently hold a Public Trust clearance with Department of TransportationMarathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
