The ideal candidate must possess advanced knowledge and skills necessary for the installation, design, and maintenance of environments featuring Microsoft Cloud Services, including Azure and O365. The role involves a variety of projects such as evaluations, consulting services, new installations, updates, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding and mastery of Microsoft Intune and Azure, essential for managing and implementing advanced cloud-based solutions.*Must have availability for after-hours and weekend work as needed as well as ability to travel within the Chicagoland area and occasionally beyond*Experience:Minimum of 10 years experience in the design, support, and management of systems infrastructure.Minimum of 4 years' experience in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.Design, configure, and manage robust cloud environments using Microsoft Azure.Implement and oversee the efficient operation of Microsoft Intune for device and application management.Advanced expertise in Microsoft Intune.Proficiency in Azure AD, including Application Proxy (NDES), Storage Account, Virtual Machines, Virtual Desktop, Backup, Automation, and Functions.Skilled in Azure identity management, encompassing SSO (SAML), OAuth, MFA, RBAC, PIM, conditional access, monitoring/alerting, device registration, identity protection, and hybrid identity management/AD connect.Knowledgeable in Azure networking, including ExpressRoute, VNet, Virtual WAN, VPN, NSG, Load Balancer, BGP, routing, and firewall concepts.Proficient in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online & On-Prem.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance.Understanding of Microsoft Information Protection.Experience with Mimecast, EOP, and Defender for 365.Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Azure Certifications are a plus!Responsibilities:Responsible for leading projects from beginning to end.Provide expert advice to the sales team and, when needed, to other engineers.Share expertise with engineering colleagues through regular meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.Complete work assignments on time and within budget.Meet service revenue targets.High attention to detail and quality in work.Strong communication and customer service skills.Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, NOC Analysts, Account Executives, and management.Provide daily updates on project progress and service hours.Skilled in documentation, including using Visio for detailed customer diagrams.Work independently with minimal supervision, showing good judgment and clear results.Manage multiple tickets and projects, keeping customers and project managers informed.Experienced in server management tools.Work with managed services support teams for knowledge transfer and operational improvements.Manage and escalate tickets as needed to ensure completion.MMD Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
