A key player in major international strategic programmes, it is a technological and industrial partner of governments, defence administrations, institutions and companies.Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.You'll be joining the Automation business unit which is focused on providing full range of systems and solutions for the automation of airport baggage handling, mail sorting centers and courier logistics hubs, based on more than 40 years' experience.This is a pivotal time for the Automation B.U. as it grows rapidly within the US, making this moment a great opportunity to bring your talent and be part of Leonardo's Automation future.The Role:We are looking to recruit an Electrical Field Engineer that will have the responsibility to manage all the technical aspects during the construction phases of our Baggage Handling System.Office Location: Braniff Centre in Dallas - Love FldMain responsibilities are:Overseeing the electrical installation such as: Cable Trays Installation; Cables laydown; Wires table; Groundings; Cable codes and category; Power Systems and Distribution Knowledge; Wirings and Connectors.In accordance with the Site Manager, provide support to Suppliers and resources during the installation, commissioning, testing and management of non-compliance phases.Support the Site Manager in planning and progress verification phases of on-site activities.Manage, in agreement with the Site Manager, the start of the weekly installation activities carried out by the Suppliers.Ensure that the necessary materials for construction are available, through withdrawals from the warehouse, or alternatively by interfacing with the Warehouse Manager of the Supplier.Contribute to commissioning and testing activities in accordance with the Site Manager.support the Supplier in the installation phases and in checking compliance with the quality requirements with respect to the documentation.Support the Site Manager in ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.Technical Requirements: Ability to read and navigate electrical drawings and tables, including 3D Navisworks and Autocad.Electrical bases skill, previous experience in cabinet and field wirings.Use of basic tools such as: Digital Multimeter; Oscilloscope; HW and/or SW Signal recorder; Megger TestKnowledge of optical, inductive and laser sensor systems (technical and performance characteristics of the sensors), electric, asynchronous, stepper and brushless motors;Lock Out Tag Out Procedure and knowledge of OSHA standard for The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout) (29 CFR 1910.147)What Will Put You Ahead:Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science.Expert: minimum 3 years of previous experience in the industrial field on installation in Baggage Handling Systems for Airports or equivalent conveyor-based industries (i.e. manufacturing, automotive, ...).Proficiency with MS Office.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work independently and in team.Adaptability to evolving technologies and industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and timelines.Language skills: Italian language skills are a plus.Other: Drivers licenseAvailability to travel, also for long periods of timeMust be able to work in U.S.Nice to have: US certification in the fields and Health & Safety.What we offer: This position is permanent, full Time.
