If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.As a member of the IT team, the Infrastructure Manager provides leadership and technology vision in the support, development, and implementation of information technology. The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing, administering, monitoring, and supporting the infrastructure related components and environments. They work directly with the IT Help Desk, supporting technology and applications provided to the business. The Infrastructure Manager position requires strong knowledge and hands on experience with network administration, data center operations, Office 365, and Microsoft systems.Responsibilities:Lead and directs performance of the infrastructure teamReviews, evaluates, and develops recommendations for enhancements and support of IT infrastructure and applicationsDocument, plan, design, implement, support, and maintain all aspect of the enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, network, and telecommunication componentsEstablishes and implements policies, standards, and guidelines for the IT departmentDevelopment and standardization of infrastructure services and procedures along with streamlining any discovered inefficienciesManage the team in charge of day-to-day operations to key performance metrics defined for System Security, Network availability and critical system incidentsManages personnel including mentoring and/or working with employees to enhance their performance, career development, and work productionWorks with director and managers to determine staffing requirements, interviews, hire new employees, and oversees personnel processesInvestigate and document new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve system stability and reliabilityOversees, plans, and manages large/complex projectsLead and coordinate innovation efforts to implement new technology solutions and services for employees and customersSelects, manages, and controls IT providers and outsourced service providersAdministrates networks and servers and provides support to the IT Help Desk and employees as neededAssists with the preparation and presentation of the annual technology budgetReviews and maintains applicable service level agreementsExperience and Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred3-5 years of infrastructure lead or management experience preferred7+ years of experience with functional and technical aspects of IT support services and related infrastructure solutions, capabilities and technologies including the following: Virtualization (VMWare), Network Management, SAN Storage, Project Management, and Cisco TelephonyAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016 and Microsoft SQL 2008/2014/2016Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Office 365Strong knowledge and experience with Active Directory, PowerShell and Group PolicyExperience with AWS, Azure, and other PaaS technologies is desiredCincinnati Bell Technology Solutions provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a protected veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws."Notice of Collection for California Employees, Applicants, and Contractors
