Job Description:Infosys is seeking VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) Engineer. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts. Essential Job Duties VDI Engineer having experience with VDI Administration. This position may require travel in the US.• At least 4 years of experience of Information Technology experience. • 4 years of relevant experience working on VDI technologies: VMware UAG's 8.x, Vmware Horizon 7. x, 8.x/VMware Workspace ONE Accessâ„¢ 21.08, App Volumes 4.x, Group Policy Management, True SSO, VMware DEM, MS FSLogix, vCenter, Control-Up, vSphere, ESXi.• 2+ years of experience working on design and implementation of VDI Onprem and Cloud• Experience in automating of repetitive tasks using PowerShell. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in Perform environment upgrades, apply hot fixes during VDI maintenance windows.• Experience in Non-Persistent VDI Patching.• Experience in Group Policy and User policy Management.• Experience in VDI Application packaging.• Analyze top call drivers, identify root cause for complex issues and apply countermeasures.• On Call support during VDI outages.• Experience in handling escalations, documentation.• Recommend best practices and Identity automation opportunities• Designing, Sizing, Capacity Management• Work responsivity includes 60% Operations and 40% EngineeringThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
