Based in Miami, Florida, we have a team of skilled professionals who are passionate about advancing drone-related technologies.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Electro-Mechanical Systems Design Engineer. The Electro-Mechanical Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for conducting analysis, designing, testing, and implementing electrical and mechanical systems for drones and drone infrastructure solutions. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and improving the performance of existing systems, as well as creating new systems.Required Qualifications:Excellent knowledge of Fusion360, or equivalent CAD systemsExperience with designing and testing electrical and mechanical systemsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering fields.Additional Qualifications:Experience with drone technology is a plusExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsOrganizational, communication, and teamwork skillsAbility to troubleshoot and improve performance of existing systemsPlanning to, or currently living in MiamiDesired Skills:CAD, C++ or Arduino programming, sheet metal, electronics & circuits, manufacturingStepper motors, sensors, dynamic systems, RF and HVAC engineeringHow to get your foot in the door:Attaching a personal portfolio of past projects goes a long way in the application process for this type of position.
