Our client provides services to over 26 million customers in 41 states. They are the largest cable operator in the United States by subscribers.The IP Engineer will be responsible for the operation, administration, and maintenance of IP networks. The position is hybrid in Charlotte, NC requiring 3 days of onsite work per week. The rate is commensurate with experience but can go up to $53/hr.Direct w-2 employment only - No 3rd Parties - Position not eligible for Visa Sponsorship or TransferRequirements for the IP Engineer:3+ years of experience with the operation, administration, and maintenance of IP networksPrimary equipment includes Juniper MX 240s, 480s, 9600s, Alcantel 7210s, 7750s, Cisco 9k, 7k, Ciena 5171, 8180s, Adva, RADAbility to receive complex work packages/network designs via workflow tool, interpret the request, and execute the tasks to include Verification of design to the networkConfirmation of material ordered to satisfy the work requestConfirmation of physical network to design to satisfy work requestWork with other teams to coordinate and complete the work requestComplete accurate impact statements and build Change Request that include a detailed MOPFull deployment and Provisioning of various network optical elements and/or services in order to satisfy the work requestExecute complex migration activity or equipment commissioning in a maintenance window to satisfy work requestExperience with routing protocols, IP transport systems, provisioning and troubleshooting above-noted equipment with various common service configurationsAbility to self-manage multiple tasks simultaneously across various job assignmentsAbility to execute above work on live customer circuits with the skillset to avoid workman-caused outagesW2 rate disclaimer:"Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate.
