Job Description:

Technician ResponsibilitiesFind out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.o   Performs regular scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft to include AOG situations.o   Ensures proper working condition of mechanical systems before flight.o   Develops and maintains records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and any reports related to parts or services.o   Inspects and examines engines, wings, propellers, tails, and other parts to identify cracks, corrosion, or other defects.o   Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and other approved maintenance documents to troubleshoot, repair and complete work assignments.o   Installs new parts to replace or repair defective or recalled parts or to enhance the performance of the aircraft; performs these tasks efficiently and to specifications.o   Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers, and the FAA.o   Repairs sheet metal as needed.o   Perform efficient troubleshooting to include avionics and electrical systems.o   Verify through proper documentation that all parts installed on the aircraft are approved for that aircraft or the component and has been visually inspected and are free of damage or contamination.o   Ensures proper function of engines and operating systems via a variety of tests and tools.o   Ensure work areas are kept clean, and all equipment is returned to assigned areas.o   Identifies and resolves mechanical problems based on visual inspections or reports from pilot or crew.o   Collaborates, as needed, with airframe and power plant (A&P) mechanics or other appropriate personnel to repair engines and non-instrumental parts.o   Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance.o   Perform aircraft engine run and taxi checks. Assist in driving a safe work cultureo   Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
