Job Details:Sr. Systems Administrator Long Term ContractAtlanta, GAThe following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Its primary location is in Alpharetta. Resources will need to drive between this location and the main campus. This is an evening position.Qualifications:Data Center infrastructure project buildouts and planning for rack, stack, and cabling of IT hardware.IT hardware and network cabling adds, moves, changes, and retirements. Provide proactive and break fix support for alarm/ticket remediation related to data center equipment.Adhere to data center design standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.Strict adherence to the Change Management window 10PM - 6AM.Responsibilities:A Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective & efficient provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of data center hardware and related infrastructure.In addition, this covers the adoption of processes and procedures guarantying the implementation of system hardware and related procedures that adheres with technology direction and policies.Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware.Investigates and troubleshoots minor issues.Provides Level 2 support per request from end users.Maintains operational, configuration, or other procedures.Contributes to and maintains system standards.Researches and recommends innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for sys admin tasks.Provides Level 3 support per request from end users.Investigates and troubleshoots physical hardware and network issues.Repairs/recovers from hardware failures; coordinates and communicates with impacted end users. Ensure proper data center capacity planning is in place.Ensures the effective and efficient physical hardware and network setup and operation.This position is responsible for the Hardware instillation including servers.
