As a CAD Engineer in MediaTek CPU team, you will be a key player to shape the future of our CAD flow and methodology. You will have the opportunity to drive efficiency, agility, and reliability through automation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products achieve ultimate performance and market readiness.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Job Description Build/optimize/maintain system that runs thousands of VMs each day in the cloud (AWS/Azure) with various types of workload in VLSI design process.Manage version control system for all teams and build tools that could help people automate related tasks.Collaborate with other teams to analyze/improve their flow mainly focused on runtime efficiency and automation.Develop tools to serve above tasks (Rust/Python preferred)Collaborate with Cloud vendor to resolve system stability issue and implement cost optimization solutionsDevelop and maintain cloud job execution status reporting platform and generate monthly cloud usage summary.Job Requirement Minimum Qualification 1y+ Experience in Rust programming language, or equivalent like C/C++/Java/Go etc. and willing to learn Rust3y+ Experience in Python3y+ Experience on web application designStrong knowledge on Linux system, familiar with technique and tools to monitor/analyze performance/bottleneck, and optimize system configurationWorking knowledge on computing network protocolsFamiliar with version control system, Git preferredPreferred Qualification Familiar with VLSI/EDA flow in chip design (not required)Prior experience with at least one cloud system (AWS or Azure)Experience with AI algorithm/tools and how to apply them to custom applicationPassion to develop flow/system, doing analysis and keep improvingMediaTek Incorporated is a global fabless semiconductor company that enables nearly 2 billion connected devices a year.
