This professional analyses the existing solution or services and helps a company develop solutions that resonate with the audience's requirements. Managers often rely on presales engineers to provide accurate customer technical information and requirements during a sales meeting.The Pre-Sales is the solution owner when the project starts, and the Technical Account Manager when the customer 's project is in production.Who will you work with?The role requires close liaison with external customers, partners and with streaming video specialists in the Broadpeak internal Engineering, Operations, Sales and Marketing departments. What will be your daily missions?Customer InteractionsAs a Pre-Sales Engineer you work closely with the regional sales team to qualify and develop strategic and complex sales opportunities for existing customers, new prospects and new market segments.You will support Sales by directly interfacing with customers to determine their technical requirements , discuss and develop complex technical solutions.Respond on time and accurately to customer questions, RFIs and RFPs as well as develop strong relationships with key technical players in the account.In coordination with Sales and Professional Services,you will ensure that projects are properly handed over to the delivery team without any technical uncertainties.Solution Demonstrations and technical adviserYou will prepare and deliver detailed Solution demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective customers and partners for various market segments.You will be responsible for providing demonstrations of the Broadpeak solutions to customers in the US and Canada: installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting and debugging complex system problems on Proof-of-Concepts involving Broadpeak and associated equipment included. It can happen on customers premises, on show floors or directly in the cloud.Support Sales activities on a technical level at international exhibitions and conferences includind plannification, setup and presenting of demonstrations.Internal Customer referent Support Operations team in understanding customer's ecosystem and assist meeting customer expectations.You will be in charge and act as the interface between the customer and Broadpeak functional departments to resolve complex technical sales issues.Provide feedback from customers to Broadpeak Marketing and Engineering departments on new product feature requirements.Continuous improvement and developmentTaking care on post-sales activities is part of the tasks which enter in the Pre-Sales role(ensure customer satisfaction).Assists with business development efforts and strengthen strategic relationships.As part of a regional team, the Pre-Sales Engineer may be asked to help on some other topics involving the presence of Broadpeak in North America.
