Project Manager I Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.Austin, TXHybrid, 3 days onsite in Austin, TX. ***MUST be LOCAL or willing to relocate to Austin, TX and already living in state of TX***This position will lead a team four Program Specialist IV Temporary Contractors in executing outreach strategies, monitoring recruitment effectiveness, and building partnerships to increase access to immunizations across Texas. The Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, DSHS Responsible Entities (REs), and other external partners to achieve program goals and objectives.(30%) Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the TVFC provider network and increase immunization access statewide. Provide direction and guidance to the Program Specialist IV Temporary Contractors to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives. Supervise and support a team of Program Specialist IV Temporary Contractors, including training and performance management. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and excellence in service delivery. (25%) Maintain partnerships with DSHS Responsible Entities (REs), healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities for programmatic expansion, resource sharing, and joint initiatives to enhance immunizations efforts. Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of recruitment activities and overall program performance. Regularly review and analyze recruitment data to track progress, identify challenges, and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment efforts.(20%) Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract new TVFC providers across all regions of Texas. Analyze data and market trends to identify target populations and prioritize recruitment efforts effectively.(15%) Provide Training, guidance, and technical assistance to Program Specialist IV Temporary Contractors and DSHS Reponsible Entities (REs) on recruitment best practices, program requirements, and compliance standards. Support the development and dissemination of training materials, resources, and tools to enhance the cpaacity of partners and stakeholders.(5%) Supports Vaccine Operation Unit and Immunization Section with project related tasks and deliverables. Represent the Vaccine Operation Unit in meetings, conferences, and other forums with stakeholders, partners, and government agencies. Serve as primary point of contact for inquiries, feedback, and concerns related to program operations and immunization services.(5%) Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency's obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.Proven experience in team management, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluation, to foster a high-performing and cohesive teamKnowledge of public health, health promotion and education.Knowledge of program planning, administration and evaluation.Knowledge of the use of Information Technology in healthcare.Knowledge of public health registriesEffective team building skillsEffective writing and speaking skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving skills.Excellent project management skills.
