The SOX Compliance Project Manager plays a pivotal role in managing all aspects of project management for SOX compliance projects across organizations with worldwide operations. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager for Global Cybersecurity Compliance, this individual executes high-impact projects that fulfill customer expectations. Utilizing expert-level knowledge in project management and SOX compliance, the Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, including operational oversight and tracking of deliverables. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on transformative projects within a fast-paced, international setting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:SOX Compliance Project ManagementLead and manage SOX compliance projects from initiation to close.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Assist with the develop and maintenance of comprehensive.SOX compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and controls.Coordinate, track and report on internal and external auditor activities related to SOX audits and reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and track to completion remediation plans for any identified deficiencies.Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on the status of SOX compliance activities.Performance MetricsDefine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of program initiatives.Stakeholder CommunicationDevelop and maintain Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and effectively communicate these agreements to internal and external stakeholders.Risk and Resource ManagementActively manage project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.Escalate and liaise with executive leadership for decision-making on project issues.Team Development and MentorshipMentor and coach team members in cybersecurity compliance best practices.Support workforce planning for cybersecurity compliance roles, including recruitment, training, and retention strategies.Continuous ImprovementGather and analyze performance data and stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement.Cross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to ensuring that the team meets project deadlines.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or related roles.Expertise in SOX regulatory requirements affecting compliance.Strong understanding of SOX regulations and their application to business processes.Proven experience leading SOX compliance projects from planning through execution.At least 4 years of experience in a global enterprise environment.Alcor Solutions does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.
