Cloud Infrastructure DevSecOps EngineerRead all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.Job DescriptionThe Cloud, Infrastructure, DevSecOps Engineer position will focus on all aspects of design, analysis, implementation and support of systems, software or other solutions pertaining to deploying capabilities to cloud systems. The candidate will work within a team of software and IT engineers to build high performance, cloud-based solutions.Major functions:Support the development of open architectures and applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for Cloud deployment and consumption.Support the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, Micro-Services.Support the architecture, design, development, troubleshoot, and implementation of cloud solutionsWork closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.Effectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levelsMust be self-motivated and expected to work independently with minimal supervisionReport status on tasks and assignmentsMust be able to generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.Must be able to perform effectively as part of a projectTechnical/Functional skills:• Must be able to sit down for long lengths of time.• Must be to travel to International sites• Must be willing to work overtime (compensated)• Must be able to work in a team environment• This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Qualifications and Education RequirementsMust be eligible for DoD Personal Security ClearanceBA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required.Level I: 0-2 years of hands-on experienceLevel II: 2+ years of hands-on experienceLevel III: 5+ years of hands-on experienceLevel IV: 8+ years of hands-on experienceHands on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on premise and cloud resourcesNetwork and operating system experienceExperience with container management technologies like OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, DockerExperience using a source code repository such as Git, BitBucket, Mercurial, or SubversionExperience using a defect management system such as Jira, Bugzilla or FogbugzExperience with Agile development methodologiesExperience in any of the following are considered a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell refined troubleshooting skills, ability to determine the root cause of a problem and identify and resolve systemic problems.Ability to perform technical briefings to various groups and engineersAbility to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.Experience using and deploying RDMS, NoSQL, or Graph databasesExperience managing/implementing server/clients with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Platforms and Federation Services (NetIQ, ADFS, Azure MFA, Keycloak, Red Hat SSO, Duo, SAML, etc.)Experience scaling applications based on user demand.Experience working with service-based architectures and Web APIsIAT Level 2 Certification (e.g. Security +).Experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML, XSLT, and JSON.Experience working and deploying on DOD networks including NIPR, SIPR, and JWICSExperience with administration of CI/CD pipeline tools.Administration experience on Microsoft Enterprise CA - Cert Requests/Monitoring.Administration experience on Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).Familiarity with Information Assurance programs.Experience with writing Linux bash scriptsExperience with one or more of the following: Terraform, Cloud Formation, Microsoft BicepAny of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).CompTIA Cloud+Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect ExpertAmazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect "” Professional
