We are seeking talented Database Engineers to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our cutting-edge infrastructure.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain PostgreSQL and MySQL systems to support global trading operations and research projectsScale and optimize database servers for real-time trading demandsEnhance query performance and infrastructure efficiency on Debian Linux platformsImplement infrastructure-as-code tools such as Salt and Terraform for automated system managementDesign and validate prototype data storage solutions customized for diverse consumer requirementsRequirements: Over 5 years of hands-on experience in database management and infrastructure engineeringDemonstrated track record of designing and deploying robust production database infrastructure, covering security, replication, and observability aspects such as monitoring, alerting, and loggingProficiency in cutting-edge database technologies, including distributed databases, time-series databases, and columnar storage, with a keen understanding of their tradeoffsStrong command of Linux systems, particularly Debian, coupled with extensive expertise in PostgreSQL or MySQL administrationProficient in Python scripting, with a deep comprehension of data structures and software design principlesSolid programming skills, coupled with a knack for troubleshooting performance issues and networking configurationsExcellent opportunity with a high-performing trading team rewarding package on offer with high growth career progression.
