The candidate will have the opportunity to grow and learn with talented engineers, physicists, and technicians on long-standing programs and new programs supporting our customers. Our small group will allow the candidate to experience, contribute, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary nature from conception all the way through to operation.The Electrical Engineer will support research, design, development, technical documentation, customer interaction and business development on multiple projects and programs. Core Responsibilities:Perform on Aircraft, Missile, and other Aerospace-related EMP Assessments, including travel to airfields and facilities CONUS and OCONUSPerform Aircraft Hardening Design effortsPerform research, design, development, fabrication, testing, and documentation of multidisciplinary engineering tasks on multiple projects and programsWrite detailed technical reports and maintain comprehensive project documentationPerform hands-on tests with knowledge of standard and advanced test and data acquisition equipmentExecute other tasks in coordination with customers and their contractors, technical leads, program managers, executive leadership or department managersInterface with technical program managers to provide technical input and personnel resources as neededModerate to significant travel required (up to 30% a year)Requirements:7+ years' experience with a BS or MS in Applied Electromagnetics including RF or EMI/EMC, Aerospace Engineering, or Pulsed Power.Excellent written and verbal communicationProgramming SkillsDemonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, and execute moderately-sized programs with teams while maintaining cost and schedule proficiency, customer expectations, and contract obligationsAbility to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearanceUS CitizenshipModerate physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, carrying or lifting up to 50 poundsWorking environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated, moderate physical hazards may existPreferred Qualifications:10+ years' experience with a BS or MS in Applied Electromagnetics including RF or EMI/EMC, Aerospace Engineering, or Pulsed Power.Active Top Secret Security ClearanceSARA offers a competitive benefits package to include:Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance; and other supplemental programsA generous PTO program (vacation, sick, holiday)Tuition & certification reimbursementFlexible work schedulesEmployee bonuses401(k) match/profit sharingEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Salary Range: $100,000 - $135,000 - DOE Application Deadline: April 30, 2024U.S. citizenship is required for most positions.
