Title: Quality Control Bioassay Associate I Location: Norwood, MAPay: $25-32/hrContract: 6+ monthsMultiple Shifts AvailableRead on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.Job SummaryThe Bioassay QC Analyst 1 will be responsible for GMP release testing of products produced at the GMP manufacturing facility and affiliated contract organizations. This position will have a focus on Molecular and Cell Biology, including Sequencing, qPCR, and electrophoresis. Job ResponsibilitiesSupport bioassay testing for raw materials, drug substance and drug product, including generation of testing data to support clinical studies.Assist in laboratory housekeeping.Perform general laboratory support activities including reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, etc.Establish and maintain a safe laboratory working environment.Accept, complete, and report on assignments within the agreed upon timeframe.Work with the quality control management team to continuously improve the quality, compliance, and efficiency of QC operations.Additional duties may be assignedEducation & Qualifications RequiredBA or BS degree in Biochemistry or relevant scientific discipline0-2 years of direct experience in QC Molecular testing and Cell Biology (e.g. qPCR, sequencing, potency, mammalian, and bacterial cell culture)PreferredExperience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smart SheetAbility to prepare reagents, pipette small volumes, work in a Biological Safety CabinetExperience with Laboratory Information SystemsAbility to efficiently prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
