Based in Anaheim, California.Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.Job Description: As a Stations Senior Engineer, tasks may include, but will not be limited to station engineering and design including design criteria, material selection, and equipment sizing and selection in compliance with codes and standards. You will work closely with client project teams to determine work scope requirements, monitor and control project costs, and pro-actively resolve variances from project plans. This role assists regions project execution and tracking, and personnel development.This position may require occasional travel depending on project and client needs.Supervisory Responsibilities:Champions the company's core values of Culture, Ethics, Performance, Compliance, Schedule Driven, Alignment to Client, and Employee Utilization.Provides technical leadership guidance.Duties/Responsibilities:TechnicalScope Development - involves themselves in any needed project as it moves through the scope development phase to assist in ensuring project is resourced correctly, that all parties are communicating effectively, and that the scope is well understood and clear to the project team members.Drive technical expertise on supported projects.Collaborates with senior management to ensure project-related issues are addressed.Ensures most up to date client standards are utilized in project execution.Promotes use of standards and codes by younger engineers.Training and DevelopmentHelp support less experienced station engineering team members in the development of technical knowledge and experience.Assist senior leadership in development of engineering training and employee development.Assists Regional Director in hiring and resourcing needs.ProcessSupports the implementation of new processes, technologies, and systems and use of resources and materials.Assists in calculator generation and vetting.Business DevelopmentAssist in development of proposals, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.Assists in proposal generation and oversight within region.Help Regional Director build and grow business opportunities by supporting and maintaining existing client relationships.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Demonstrates project engineering management skillsExcellent English verbal and written communication skills.Strong technical, supervisory, motivational and leadership skills.Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry and of engineering.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Education and Experience:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from ABET accredited college preferredLeadership or management experience preferred8-12+ years of applicable experienceor 5+ years of experience with PE certificationFE and PE preferred (or qualified to take PE exam)Preferred to have experience with some or all the following:natural gas and oil systemstransmission and distribution station designgas measurement, regulation, control, and material/equipment sizing/selection in the application of:custody transfer / city gate stationsdistrict regulator stationsvalve automationengineering project coordination in station designlead field engineering efforts or on-site meetings with clients and other stakeholdersstation construction and commissioningEmployment Type: Direct HireLocation of Position: Anaheim, CaliforniaLocation Type: Office"We are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
