Job Description:

Position Summary:Fox Factory is seeking a highly motivated Dyno Test Engineer 3 to contribute to the testing and development of existing and new dampers. This position requires strong knowledge of the workings of dampers and applying that knowledge towards satisfying the customers' desired ride characteristics for vehicles under evaluation.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.The Dyno Test Engineer 3 will also work with cross-functional teams throughout the entire life cycle of the product and processes. They will work closely with Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Production to bring dampers from initial design, through prototype development and finally into full production.Position Responsibilities:Development of metrics, test methods, procedures, data capture, and reports for existing and new products.Contributes to Limit studies, Edge Case analysis and Dynamometer Correlation studies based on analytical data.Develops testing methods for Quality and Manufacturing Validation to confirm Pass/Fail criteria and analysis.Continuous improvement of the Manufacturing and Test Validation process.Creates custom test setups for complex projects.Prepares recommendation for individual test priorities within the group.Manages project with limited oversight from management.Will be required to conduct testing in addition to advising and leading training activities for peers.Manages multiple projects concurrently, handling complex technology developments and customer interactions.Create data management and tracking communications process with cross-functional teams for product, processes, and quality traceability control implementation.The ideal candidate takes pride in his/her hands-on work, analytical ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
