POSITION SUMMARY This is an intermediate-level position. This position will involve primarily time in the field at project sites with some office time. Employee will be responsible for implementing fieldwork for site assessments, implementing air monitoring programs, providing 24/7 emergency response assistance to our clients, soil boring and monitoring well installation oversight, collection of soil and groundwater samples, field screening of soils using an organic vapor analyzer, documenting GPS points of sample locations using a GPS unit, using air monitoring equipment, and using other specialized field equipment, as needed. Office work will include coordinating fieldwork and scheduling subcontractors, reviewing data from the laboratory, preparing tables using Excel and writing reports. Employee must have excellent attention to detail, good communication, and writing skills. Employee will receive close supervision on new aspects of assignments. Progression will require an employee to demonstrate skills and knowledge of the position they currently hold. Work may be performed in emergency and stressful situations.
