Day to Day:This company is one of the country's leading renewable energy developers, with more than 25 GW of renewable projects in development across the United States and significant growth planned in the near future. We are seeking to bring on a Sr. Manager of Environmental Programs position. The focus of this position covers, site evaluation for, and successful permitting of, new development assets, including; thermal, solar, wind electric generation, battery storage, carbon sequestration, and hydrogen production. Other tasks will include assisting various internal departments to help ensure environmental compliance of operating energy assets, participating in due diligence on acquisition efforts, and maintaining environmental knowledge required to offer strategic direction and policy advocacy. The role will interact with plant and corporate operations, asset management, public relations, regulatory agencies, engineering, legal, and acquisition/development personnel. Some domestic travel to project sites, conferences, and counterparty offices will be required.
