In this role, you hold a front-line position creating and building relationships and representing Scosche. This position will be based out of our Corporate Office in Oxnard, California. Goals will include pitching relevant products and ensuring that our existing and new customers have a positive experience from start to finish.Job Responsibilities:Experience working on CMS & e-commerce platforms such as: Magento, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify & WooCommerceImplement responsive and mobile-friendly website features to ensure optimal user experience across different devices and screen sizes.Develop custom landing pages utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, bootstrap, and other web technologies.Integrate third-party modules with Magento platform.Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code using best practices and coding standards.Verify that design and functional requirements are met through quality assurance (QA) testing.Create and document technical solutions to improve functionality and experience of eCommerce websites.Optimize website performance and security by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and implementing performance tuning techniques.Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field from an accredited institution.2+ years of website development and eCommerce experienceSolid understanding of web development technologies such as client-side and server-side JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON, and XML, PHP, MYSQLExperience in developing and/or deploying responsive websites.Ability to create sites with a responsive design for mobile and tablet devices.Web accessibility compliance knowledge is a plus.Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issuesExcellent analytical problem-solving skillsEnjoys participating in a collaborative environment.Hybrid schedule after training.
