The Department is seeking the services of an experienced Program Manager.The Department requires the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position:• A bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable;• A Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification• Eight (8) or more years setting up and managing a project management office• Five (5) or more years managing successful, large-scale projects that include multiple diverse teams;• Five (5) or more years utilizing project software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc. to track and maintain projects;• Five (5) or more years developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules based on work breakdown structures;• Five (5) or more years of experience with PMO methodologies and documentation;• Five (5) or more years of experience with meeting facilitation and documentation;• Five (5) or more years creating and presenting internal and external status reports;• Five (5) or more years with risk and issue management• Certification in Agile or Scrum-based Project ManagementGovernment related projects experienced is strongly preferred• IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations Certified• Experience managing projects with a large, distributed user base;• Experience managing waterfall projects;• Experience with state government projects;• Experience managing and reporting projects in compliance with Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C.;• Experience working with technical programming teams;• Ability to demonstrate a take-charge, can-do attitude with the initiative to solve complex problems;• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders;• Skills in negotiation, mediation, facilitation, and team building;• Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment;• Experience managing vendors and vendor projects;• Knowledge in other IT areas such as programming, data analytics, etc.;• A team player attitude with a high-energy level and diligent work ethic; and• Ability to meet or exceed deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to organize and prioritize activities.
