IONOS is growing! Our newly established US commercial team is looking to hire a Front End Engineer who will continuously improve metrics in the onboarding user journeys in our digital product. In that capacity, you will work closely with the other members of the commercial team in the US and counterparts in our European markets to gather successful initiatives, implement tests and roll out successes.Our mission is to help small businesses and individuals build and expand their professional online presences. In this role you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, debugging and support of the onboarding user interface.We offer a challenging and exciting position in an international company with good development opportunities. Your web development experience will be instrumental in enhancing the IONOS digital presence and therefore directly impacting our growth plans for the US!Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.What you will do: Work on projects as part of the newly established cross-functional team as part of which you will set up and run tests in our digital user journeys with the goal of driving incrementality in our KPIsFamiliarize yourself with our code base and environments and successfully work within our matrix organization to develop experiments and support implementation for both web and mobile applicationsParticipate in the ideation and roadmapping, as well as prioritization processes for new initiatives. Then own the development process including concept development, testing, and go-liveQualities you will bring: 3-5 years of experience in frontend developmentProven experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular etc.)Experience with REST apis, Git/Github, CSS preprocessors and Bootstrap requiredAbility to work collaboratively in a global, cross functional teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFormal education and/or professional training and relevant certifications in computer science or related technological field preferredPhysical requirements and working conditionsSitting or standing for extended periods of timeSpend extended hours in front of a computer screenAbility to travel via air and/or vehicle on an overnight basis, including international travel on an estimated quarterly basisAbility to lift objects during travel up to 20 lbs.The role is located in downtown Philadelphia, PA and requires at least 3 days on-site per week or on days as designated by managementEqual Opportunity Employer.
