This role will manage the tactical & strategic work of daily schedule maintenance and the start cadence of the production system. Additionally, the incumbent will manage the construction schedule and trade partner capacity with responsibility for the Build Pro scheduling system and templates to ensure dates provided to trade partners are accurate. Working with the division leadership team to ensure the accuracy of financial forecasts and budgets is a requirement as well. This is a key part of the division operations leadership group. Lastly, the role will improve schedule templates and trade partner schedule adherence to reduce cycle time.Overall, this role seems pivotal in driving operational excellence and ensuring that Woodside's production systems run efficiently and effectively.Responsibilities:Manage the slotting meeting and ensure critical dates are captured, updated, and communicated to all departments.Plan and forecast weekly starts, stack all starts and follow all GPP guidelines.Responsible for lot release in JD Edwards.Determine MICR homes with the VP of Operations and VP of Sales & Marketing based on weekly forecasts.Support timely permit package compilation, submissions, and approvals as needed.Manage all trade communications regarding centralized scheduling.Construction schedule setup in BuildPro.Support the construction team in the field by disseminating information.Help research trade invoice inquiries and provide research support for trades.Ensure all change orders and field EPOs are communicated with supporting documentation.Perform unit projections for starts in the business plan.Qualifications/Experience:Background or field of study in construction or a related industry.5+ years of experience building homes.Demonstrated understanding of residential construction techniques and scheduling.Ability to balance multiple tasks.Meet deadlines without compromising quality or productivity.Familiarity with software scheduling tools.Ability to apply Lean Principles, Theory of Constraints, and Critical Chain Theory principles to projects.Exceptional project management skills.High-quality decision-making skills.Functional building knowledge for residential construction.Ability to apply scheduling processes.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to use software scheduling tools.Benefits:401(k) & 401(k) MatchingDental InsuranceHealth InsuranceVision InsuranceDisability InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramFlexible Spending AccountLife InsurancePaid Time OffWe recognize that few applicants may "check all the boxes," but each person has unique strengths they would bring to the table.
