Together, we can make a meaningful impact.About the RoleAESC is looking for a Construction Project Manager, to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project that requires exceptional talent. The product portfolio is expanding with never-built-before production lines, and requirements demand cell production volume at a scale which was once thought to be impossible to reach. Required commitment is that you bring in your passion for advancing energy sustainability, your desire to work on difficult problems pushing the limits, your willingness to value team success beyond your own, and your unwavering positive attitude towards sustained hard work.What You Will Do Lead day-to-day activities of construction phaseDevelop and manage a team to execute project scope including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and ProcessCoordinate all contractors' activities and lead resolution of field construction problemsCommunicates/liaise with operations during system installation and commissioningCoach and mentor counterparts and subordinates on excellence in the construction industryFoster an innovative environment amongst your team's and those within the EPC contractor to help AESC succeed.Provide strategic input into the construction organization, setting your teams future up for growth and success.Report construction progress/risks to the Project DirectorDevelop construction quality plans and safety plans in conjunction with QA/QC and safety managersSecure resources to support construction supervision and implementation of safety planParticipate during contracting strategy development and contractor selectionReview contractors' deliverables and compliance with plans and specificationsWhen Lead Construction Manager is not onsite, be the single point of contact with contractors and local stakeholders.What You NeedBachelor degree or equivalent experienceGraduate studies in project management or business will be valued.Have at least 5 years of experience working for global leading companies in supervising and managing the construction of large industrial projects ($100m+ capex)Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Process scopesExcellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills are a mustAbility to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with challenging timelines and goalsHave an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and willingness to continuously learnAbility to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and executionUnderstands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards.
