We are seeking an experienced E&I Inspector based in Corpus Christi, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-9 years of experience working on Oil & Gas projects/facilities.Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.Job Title: E&I InspectorIndustry: Oil & Energy Work location: Corpus Christi, TXWorkplace: On-site (no remote/hybrid opportunity)Work Schedule: Monday - Friday / 6:30 AM - 5 PM depending on workloadWork Hours: 50 hours a week (5 days a week/10 hours a day)Worktype: W2 Contract Contract Duration: 1-year contract with potential for extension based on performance, work ethic, project need, etc.....Rate: Hourly with 1.5x OT Target Start Date: Soonest AvailableLocal candidates preferredKey Responsibilities:Conduct inspections of instrument and electrical equipment installations to ensure compliance with technical codes, specifications, and standards.Provide oversight and support during construction activities, ensuring adherence to project requirements and industry best practices.Generate detailed inspection reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and management, to address issues and facilitate resolution.Utilize knowledge of NFPA 70E and NFPA 70 codes to ensure electrical safety and regulatory compliance.Requirements:Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in E&I inspection, preferably with an EPC/Owner background.Strong understanding of technical codes, including NFPA 70E and NFPA 70.Excellent report writing and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
