As the Chief Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing all aspects of building maintenance and engineering operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our properties.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Details:Onsite in MiamiSalary 110k-130kMust have experience leading a teamKey Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, elevators, and other mechanical systems across the multi-building project.Oversee and manage the engineering and maintenance teams, providing leadership, training, and mentorship.Plan and manage budgets related to building maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for all buildings within the project.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Coordinate with property management, tenants, and vendors to address maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner across all properties.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 years of experience in building engineering and maintenance, with a focus on large-scale, mixed-use, multi-building projects.Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and elevators.Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively direct and supervise a diverse team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, property management, vendors, and local authorities.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing efficient and cost-effective solutions.Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and safety standards is required.
