In 2021, Delta was also recognized by CDP with leadership level ratings for its substantial contribution to climate change and water security issues and named Supplier Engagement Leader for its continuous development of a sustainable value chain.Job Purpose The Solution Architect responsible for defining and creating the architecture for various solutions and systems based on customer needs and marketing requirements that also align with our strategic direction with company strategy, commitments and goals.Job Duties & Responsibilities• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to define system requirements, architecture, and design specifications for building automation projects.Develop high-level and detailed system architectures that encompass hardware, software, communication protocols, and data flow, ensuring interoperability and scalability.Design and oversee the implementation of complex control algorithms, protocols, and integration strategies to enable seamless communication between diverse building systems, such as HVAC, lighting, security, and energy management.Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and performance improvement within building automation systems.Lead the selection of appropriate hardware and software components, considering factors such as compatibility, performance, reliability, and long-term maintenance.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines, coding standards, and best practices.Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, address technical inquiries, and present architectural solutions in a clear and accessible manner.Conduct system performance analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting to identify and address potential bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security vulnerabilities.Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to building automation and ensure that designs comply with relevant codes and guidelines.Participate in the testing, validation, and verification of system components to ensure functional accuracy and reliability.Contribute to the documentation of architectural designs, system specifications, user manuals, and technical documentation.Support the sales and marketing teams by providing technical insights during client presentations, proposal development, and pre-sales activities.May be required to perform other related duties as assignedJob Requirement (Qualification & Experience)· Superior interpersonal communication skills.· Strong leadership skills.· Confident public speaker and presenter.· Strong creative skills.· Ability to be forward thinking and analyze impacts of different scenarios on the existing products and their platforms.Skills & CompetenciesDomain experience such as Building-Related system will be plusTechnology background - Hardware and software integrationCommercial Building or Construction backgroundMarket contacts and networkEducation and Experience Required:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees and certifications (e.g., Certified System Architect) are a plus.Proven experience (5+ years) as a System Architect or similar role within the building automation or related industry.Strong expertise in building automation technologies, including BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, KNX, and IoT protocols.Proficiency in designing distributed and scalable architectures for complex systems involving sensors, actuators, controllers, and cloud-based services.In-depth knowledge of software design patterns, data modeling, and object-oriented programming.Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and strategies for securing BMS.Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or similar.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Prior experience with CAD, simulation tools, and building information modeling (BIM) software is a plus.·
