My client is a multi-disciplinary firm providing services within and around Georgia, Atlanta.This position has a remote working structure, with opportunities for higher priced management positions as well as manager in training opportunities, providing consulting services for building enclosure and restoration. This field focuses on a structure's outer shell to achieve a climate-controlled interior, stability, and pleasing aesthetics.Now seeking a highly experienced and qualified Building Enclosure Consultant to join our market leading engineering team. As a Building Enclosure Consultant, you will be responsible for investigating and analyzing building enclosure failures and damages. Your role will involve building performance analysis, service life investigation and enclosure system assessment. Providing consulting services to clients in the public and private sectors.With a huge team full of expert's with experience in this field, the opportunity to learn and cultivate skills is close to unmatched. Coordinate on-site schedules, condition requirements, and the overall phasing of work. With safety top-of-mind, regular inspections are completed, and field reports are documented to monitor progress and the quality of work.ResponsibilitiesDesigning waterproofing systems for new constructions and performing forensic evaluations specifying the repair and replacement of existing systemsLead technical expertise and project management services related to building envelope systems, including roofing, waterproofing, wall systems, and fenestration systems.Conduct building envelope condition assessments, forensic investigations, and failure analysis to determine the root cause of problems and develop appropriate remediation strategies.Providing consulting on the areas of restorations and preservationManaging construction projects and implementing design solutionsHigh volume of projects per year leading to a large range project opportunities (Roofing, -foundations, balconies, parking structures, faí§ades and curtain walls.Litigation support chances.RequirementsBachelors and/or Masters in Architectural Engineering or Architecture in Building Science/ Building Enclosures/ Historic Preservation.Registered Architect or Professional Engineer License.In-depth knowledge of building envelope systems, including roofing, waterproofing, wall systems, and fenestration systems.Experience with building envelope condition assessments, forensic investigations, and failure analysis.Experience with building envelope testing programs.Experience with building envelope system design, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration services.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.BenefitsBase Salary $90,000 - $130,000.Medical Dental Vision Coverage contributions towards premiums made by the company.Fully funded short-Term Long Term Disability Benefits.401(k) Retirement savings plan.Generous PTO.Equal Opportunities employer.
