Starting with the Food & Beverage industry, the organisation is challenging food assembly processes globally, with the team coming from companies, including Google, Meta, Tesla and Amazon Robotics.Following a 10x growth rate over the last 2 years, the company is set to rapidly expand their operations in the US.Role SummaryAs a Field Service Technician, you will act a the primary point of contact for onsite robot installation, configuration and repair.You will be responsible for maintaining the company's robots, performing preventative maintenance and installing new updates when required.ResponsibilitiesOrganize and carry out duties for field robot maintenance, repair, and inspection.Diagnose, debug, and fix medium-complexity problems on the spot.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PM).Set up robots at client locations and instruct clients on their upkeep and operation.Keep track of all technical support and field service interactions through customer contact reports, training materials, and installation and maintenance records.Identify, address, and accurately record product flaws, complaints, and enhancements.Organize personnel schedules to meet client expectations.Escalate issues to the relevant resource for resolution.Engage with customers in a constructive manner.Assure adherence to safety rules and guidelines and a hygienic and secure workplace.Ideal Requirements3+ years' experience in Robotics, IoT or related multi-disciplinary systems.Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and repair mechanical and electrical instruments.BSc or MSc Degree, ideally in Engineering or Robotics.Ability to travel 75% of the time.1 month initial onsite training at the company's HQ in California.Must own a car and a willingness to travel to client locations.Flexible work schedule.Fluency in Spanish - AdvantageExperience working with Python and/or Linux - AdvantageApply to the RoleRoles like these are snapped up very quickly, so act now if you do not want to miss out!
