As the Engineering Manager for kW Engineering's New York office, you'll provide full managerial support of our staff. Your core duties involve overseeing project deliverables, ensuring the fulfillment of contract targets, and placing a strong emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of performance, which includes financial management, contract deliverables, strategic planning, quality assurance, and operational effectiveness.Serve as the primary point of contact to our clients.Interface directly with clients and help build and maintain relationships.Identify and develop new opportunities, collaborate on proposals and develop new business with new and existing clients.Manage workload of project engineering teams to conduct site visits, engineering analysis and reports.Maintain client project database.Lead, manager, inspire and mentor staff.Perform other duties as needed.What you NeedBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field preferred or equivalent education/work experience.5+ years of experience with utility project management or working in the industry.Firm understanding of procurement best practices and contract administration.Proficient in developing/or implementing data collection, tracking, and reporting processes (i.e. Customer relationship management (CRM) efforts.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
